Vaughan Bowie begins the conversation talking about youth work in Australia. He then discusses the causes, and ways of addressing, workplace violence in the child and youth care field. Mr. Bowie has over 40 years working with young people in numerous settings and was one of the first people to write about workplace violence as it relates to child and youth care practitioners. Mr. Bowie has written and edited several books in addition to publishing numerous articles on the topic.
